The Church and the Everlasting Kingdom

Sermon Text Daniel 7:9-14

In this exploration of Daniel's vision in chapter 7, we're reminded of the temporary nature of earthly powers and the eternal reign of God. The vivid imagery of beasts representing kingdoms, and the Ancient of Days on His fiery throne, paints a striking picture of divine judgment. As we reflect on this, we're challenged to consider: which kingdom are we truly serving? Are we investing our lives in temporary earthly pursuits, or are we building for God's eternal kingdom? This message urges us to look beyond current political and cultural climates, reminding us that our true citizenship is in heaven. It's a call to live with eternal perspective, sharing the hope of the gospel with urgency, knowing that one day every nation will bow before the throne of God.
